Sandgate Art Society Easter art show
“Art has the power to transform, to illuminate, to educate, inspire and motivate.” Sandgate Art Society, a vibrant not-for-profit organisation, knows that a creative community is a thriving community. Since 2012, it has continued to bring the Sandgate and surrounding communities together through their annual Sandgate Easter Art Show. This much-anticipated event celebrates the talent of local and regional artists, while fostering strong community engagement and appreciation for the arts. Coinciding with the Bluewater Festival, the Arts Show attracts a strong attendance from both our local community and the wider public. In 2025, the event ran over the Easter weekend, opening to the public over two days. The number of visitors is estimated to have been over 5,000.
