Imagine a seed as a tiny plant packed neatly into a suitcase, ready to embark on an exciting holiday. In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover the magic and importance of saving seeds and learn how to preserve precious heirloom varieties that carry generations of history. We'll guide you through every step—from knowing the perfect time to harvest, to mastering seed cleaning techniques for both wet and dry seeds, and how to properly dry and store them. Join us to unlock the secrets of seed saving and help cultivate a thriving, sustainable garden that nourishes both you and the planet for years to come.

Please wear a hat and covered shoes. Please bring a snack and a keep cup or water bottle.

Location: Meet at the Kitchen in the Garden.

This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the 'plant back into planet'.
