Seniors art exhibition

Celebrate the creativity and artistic achievements of Brisbane's senior artists at the annual Seniors Art Exhibition.

From 12 to 16 October 2026, visitors can explore a diverse collection of artworks created by participants of the City Hall Fifty Plus Centre Art Classes, including works from accomplished artists including Terry Hadnutt, whose portrait of Slim Dusty was awarded Grand Champion in the 2026 Ekka Painting and Drawing Section, and acclaimed artist Archana Bose, whose artwork is featured in the accompanying image.

The exhibition will be displayed in The People's Gallery, City Hall's ground floor corridor gallery spaces, and will be open to the public daily from 8am to 5pm. Artwork on display will also be available for purchase (cash sales only).

Presented as part of Queensland Seniors Month, the exhibition showcases the talent, creativity and lifelong learning of older Queenslanders.
