The Enchanted Garden

The Enchanted Garden returns to Roma Street Parkland from Friday 20 November to Saturday 19 December 2026 for a spellbinding new chapter, where the magic of the festive season meets the wonder of night.

Two aspiring aviators, Ivy and Bert, dream of flying. Follow their curiosity into a hidden world of Night Flight, where flight takes many forms and light moves like wings. With Ivy and Bert as your guides, journey through seven immersive zones inspired by creatures of the night sky and the rhythms of Roma Street Parkland after dark. Look up and be launched into wonder as tens of thousands of lights illuminate new stories, sights and sensations.

Open nightly from 6.30pm, The Enchanted Garden offers session times every 15 minutes until 9.15pm, providing flexibility for visitors of all ages. It also offers low sensory sessions for visitors who benefit from a calmer experience with reduced visitor numbers, softer lighting and gentler sound effects.

Before your aerial adventure begins, enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks on Celebration Lawn from 5pm daily, or relax with a drink from the licensed bar as the sun sets and the Parkland's vibrant evening atmosphere comes to life.

The Enchanted Garden is a Queensland Government initiative and is delivered by City Parklands.
