Transurban Bridge to Brisbane 2026

The Transurban Bridge to Brisbane is Queensland's largest community fun run event, attracting around 40,000 participants each year.

Celebrating its 30th year, Bridge to Brisbane takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026. You can be a one of thousands of runners, walkers, and wheelers traversing the iconic Gateway Bridge and local Brisbane streets to raise millions for local charities.

You can choose from 2 course options:

• 10km course: starts at the southern end of the Gateway Bridge in Murarrie, takes participants over the bridge, and ends at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
• 5km course: Starts at Hercules Park in Hamilton, moves along Kingsford Smith Drive, and loops through Bowen Hills to finish at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

After the race, you can celebrate with friends and family at the Finish Village at the Brisbane Showgrounds, with delicious food live entertainment, free rides and more.
