Join a cosy morning of weaving at this small group experience with contemporary fibre artist Monique Ross. Take some time out for yourself, relax, and connect creatively with nature while learning weaving skills using native plant fibres. Suitable for beginners, all materials supplied. In the event of unsuitable weather, the workshop will take place indoors.
About the artist: Monique teaches from a contemporary craft perspective aligned with nature connection and mindfulness, and does not teach or represent Indigenous cultural practices.
Requirements on the day:
- Sun-smart clothing suitable for the weather and fully enclosed shoes.
- Bring a cushion suitable for sitting on the ground, or a lightweight outdoor chair if you would like to use one.
- Sunscreen and insect repellent.
- Please BYO snacks and drinks as there are no food outlets on site.
