Bees - the darlings of the insect world - and with good reason, since these amazing pollinators keep our planet alive! With more than 1600 named native bee species, Australian native bees are proficient pollinators of our native plants, playing an important role in plant diversity and reproduction. To raise awareness of their importance, the threats they face, and their contribution to urban gardens, come join us for all things ‘buzzy’ on World Bee Day.

Requirements: Please wear a hat and enclosed shoes; and bring a keep cup or water bottle. This workshop is available only to participants 16 years of age or over.

Location: Meet at the Kitchen in the Garden.

This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the plant back into Planet.
