World Migratory Bird Day - Shorebird adventures

Join the fun and help celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at this lively family-friendly session where curiosity takes flight! Through hands-on activities and creative play, we’ll explore the wonderful world of shorebirds – how they live, what makes them special, and why our wetlands are so important to them.

This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity, send an email.

Requirements:

• Arrive 10 minutes early to check in.
• Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent.
• Please bring water and a snack as there are no food outlets on site.

Note: This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
