Event notification to stakeholders
Before you hold an event, you must notify residents, businesses and local authorities.
You must provide a copy of this notification information to Brisbane City Council.
Required notifications include:
- letterbox drop to residents and businesses within one kilometre of the event. The letter must include a complaint hotline number for the day of the event. You must provide Council with the complaint hotline number and a key contact person
- Queensland Fire and Rescue Service
- Queensland Police Service - for events within a single police region, contact your local police station. Events involving multiple police regions are coordinated by the QPS Major Events Unit in Brisbane
- Councillor of the local ward where the event is being held.
