Library upgrade and temporary library location
Upgrade
Bulimba Library is being upgraded to create a more comfortable, modern and welcoming space for the community to enjoy. The library is closed for these works. Read about the upgrade.
Temporary library location
Bulimba Library has temporarily located to Bulimba Bowls Club at 6 Quinn Street, Balmoral. Opening hours at this temporary location differ from standard library hours and are:
- Monday: closed
- Tuesday: 1-8pm
- Wednesday-Friday: 9am-5pm
- Saturday: 9am-4pm
- Sunday: closed.
Visit this location to:
- browse the library collection
- pick up your holds (choose Bulimba Library as your pick up location)
- attend a First 5 Forever session
- collect your star stickers as part of the Gold Star and Little Stars Reading Club programs.

Where to park
There’s a car park available onsite at Bulimba Library.
The car park is locked at:
- 5pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
- 8pm on Wednesdays
- 4pm on Saturdays.
Vehicles not removed by these times will be secured until the library's next opening day.
