This page includes the 2002 amendments to the superseded Brisbane City Plan 2000.

Amendments to City Plan effective 1 January 2002 (Update 2)

  • Inclusion of five new local plans for Acacia Ridge, Australia TradeCoast, Nundah District, Wakerley and Wynnum Manly
  • Consequential changes to Algester, Calamvale, Parkinson, Stretton and Wynnum Wakerley (now Wynnum West) local plans and other parts of the Plan (Chapter 4 and parts of Chapters 2 and 3)
  • Inclusion of Bulimba Industrial Area Planning Scheme Policy (replaces the interim version sent in June)
  • Update of sites included in ministerial designations
  • Inclusion of Heritage Place at Morrow Street, Taringa (result of Local Planning Instrument)
  • Updates to contents and index pages
  • Changes on individual pages are marked with a vertical line in the outer margin of the respective column, and new pages are marked with an adoptive date

  • Area classification changes both related to local plans listed above and for other reasons

Amendments to City Plan effective 1 July 2002 (Update 3)

  • Inclusion of three new local plans - Aspley District, Fig Tree Pocket and Toowong/Indooroopilly District - with consequential changes to the City Plan; minor amendments to the McDowall/Bridgeman Downs Local Plan and other parts of the City Plan (Chapter 4 and parts of Chapters 2, 3 and 5)
  • Amendments to Bulimba District Local Plan - as a consequence the Bulimba Industrial Area Planning Scheme Policy has been removed (Chapter 4 and Appendix 2)
  • Repealed Contribution Policies - Planning Scheme Policies 6, 7 and 8 due to inclusion of Planning Scheme Policy 9 (Appendix 9)
  • Inclusion of sites to the Commercial Character Building and Heritage Registers (Appendix 2)
  • Update of sites included in ministerial designations (Appendix 3)
  • Updates to contents and index pages
