Planning and building online tools

Brisbane City Council provides mapping and online tools to assist you with your planning or building project. The tools include Development.i, FloodWise Property Report, eBIMAP2 mapping service and Local Heritage Places online. These systems help you obtain information to make planning and building decisions and submit a complete development assessment application.

Development.i is Council's development search and tracking tool that lets you save searches, set favourites on development applications, or create email notifications to track application progress.

City Plan online

City Plan online is the electronic version of Brisbane City Plan 2014, Council's plan for the future development of Brisbane. The plan guides how land in Brisbane is used and developed. City Plan online is easily navigated and has a search function. The online mapping tool shows zoning, overlays, neighbourhood plans and Local Government Infrastructure Plan maps.

FloodWise Property Report

Council's FloodWise Property Report shows the risk and type of flooding at a property to help you plan and build new habitable flood levels in accordance with Council's requirements.

eBIMAP2 mapping service

eBIMAP2 (Brisbane's Intergrated Map of Assets and Property) is one of Council's online mapping services. Subscribers can use eBIMAP2 to find Council information via geo-spatial mapping technology.

Local Heritage Places online

Search for local buildings and other types of places, find details, historical and builder information, architectural period and style, as well as photographs. You can also nominate a local heritage place.
