City Centre Interim Action Plan
Brisbane City Council is working with businesses and the community to strengthen the City Centre economy in the wake of coronavirus. The pandemic has impacted the way we live, work and relax in the City Centre, so Council is working on two new initiatives to help bring people back to the city to visit, shop and do business. One is a short-term City Centre Interim Action Plan and the other is the longer-term City Centre Master Plan.
The City Centre Interim Action Plan will be developed, based on feedback from businesses and the community. It will outline actions and ideas to revitalise the economy in the city centre and harness opportunities to attract further investment activation and visitation.
Thank you to all participants who completed the survey that was open between 22 March to 20 April. Your responses will contribute to the development of the City Centre Interim Action Plan.
Council is focusing on the below area for this project.
This project focuses on the City Centre, however Council’s Economic Recovery Taskforce is working to strengthen the broader, citywide economy. More information about the initiatives of the Economic Recovery Taskforce can be found on the Economic Recovery Taskforce page.
