Hamilton Town Hall refurbishment

Brisbane City Council is pleased to advise that works to upgrade the Hamilton Town Hall at Rossiter Parade and Racecourse Road, Hamilton are now complete.

About the project

Construction commenced in September 2021 and works were successfully completed in mid-January 2022.

The refurbishment works included:

  • new floor coverings, curtains and ceiling fans, and installation of LED lights
  • refurbishment of male and female amenities
  • kitchen refurbishment with new appliances
  • restoring original heritage painting scheme.

These works will ensure Council’s community halls continue to provide an affordable and accessible location for a variety of community generated activities and events.

This project was jointly funded by Australian Government and Brisbane City Council.

We would like to thank the local community for their patience while these important upgrades were completed.
