Situated in the Bamboo Garden at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha, the heritage-listed gallery space is nestled amongst trees and thriving bamboo. 

Make the space your own using the available tables, chairs, blank walls and art hanging system. The quaint timber studio also has air conditioning, accessibility features and basic kitchen facilities.

Hire fees

Hire fees depend on the event duration.

Fees and charges are confirmed when you book.

  $178 per week*

* You can hire the studio for a maximum of 28 days. To hire the studio for a week or more, email Council.

Bond

You may need to pay a security bond on top of the hiring fee. 

Your bond will be refunded within 10 business days from the last day of your hire period, unless it is applied by Council. See the hire conditions for more information.

Bonds are based on the risk level:

  • Low or medium risk: Applies to events with no alcohol. Risk level also depends on the number of people attending and the time of day the event is taking place. 
  • High risk: Applies to events in the evening, with security guards and events involving alcohol. This includes birthday parties, engagement celebrations and wedding receptions.
