Summer reads at your local library

Readers of all ages and interests are invited to discover the hottest reads this summer with Brisbane City Council's Summer Reading program. It's free to participate! The program combines reading and library activities to encourage library members to experience the joy of reading over the summer holiday break.
Spend your summer reading in blissful solitude, or discover a love of reading together with your friends or family.
Council's 33 libraries, Mobile Library and Pop-up Library will host the Summer Reading program from Saturday 9 December 2023 until Sunday 21 January 2024.
Don't miss out on the fun! Visit your local library to sign up for free library membership.
