Council is bringing back the popular $2 Summer Dips initiative from December to February to encourage residents to enjoy Council pools for less this summer.

Jindalee Pool is located at 11 Yallambee Road, Jindalee and includes a children's splash pad, 18-metre indoor heated swimming pool and a 50-metre eight-lane outdoor pool.

The pool offers swimming lessons, squad programs and stroke development classes. The outdoor pool and splash pad are closed during winter.

The 50 metre pool will be closed to the public on the following days:

  • Tuesday 3 December, 9am - 3pm
  • Sunday 8 December from 3 - 6pm
  • Tuesday 18 February 2025, 9am - 3pm

Please note that there is no indoor pool availability to the public Monday–Friday between 11.30am–12.30pm due to aqua aerobics, and Saturdays 7am-12.30pm due to learn to swim classes.

Keep watch @ public pools

When by the pool with your kids Keep watch @ public pools recommends:

  • for zero-five year olds and non-swimmers, a parent or guardian must be in the water at all times within arms' reach of the child/non-swimmer
  • for six-10 year olds, constant active supervision is required by a parent or guardian. Be prepared to get wet and enter the water with this age group
  • for 11-14 year olds, parents or guardians must physically check on children on a regular basis.
