Hibiscus Sports Complex opening hours and fees

Brisbane City Council's Hibiscus Sports Complex is open seven days a week. A variety of membership options are available for the health and fitness club.

Health and fitness club

The health and fitness club includes a gym and fitness classes. You must be 16 years of age or over to use the gym. You may use the gym from 14 years old with direct supervision of a parent/guardian 18 years or older.

Membership conditions

The following conditions apply for Hibiscus Leisure memberships:

  • all prices are Goods and Services Tax (GST) inclusive and valid from 1 July 2021
  • you must show your concession card to receive concession prices
  • 'concession' means the holder of a:
    • Pensioner/Student Concession Card issued by Centrelink, or
    • Gold Card issued by the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Skate park

Space availability in the skate park may vary due to event requirements. At all times, an adult must accompany children under 10 years of age.

Bike and scooter riders are advised to wear a helmet. Safety gear is strongly recommended for all ages.

The skate park is free of charge to all users.

Swimming pools

Pool space availability may vary due to event requirements. At all times, children 10 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a carer aged 18 years or older.

Concession prices are available. Concession means a holder of a Pensioner/Student Concession Card issued by Centrelink or a Gold Card issued by the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Basketball court closure

The basketball courts in the stadium at the Hibiscus Sports Complex will be closed for refurbishment of the floors from Wednesday 28 December 2022 to Saturday 7 January 2023.

Hibiscus Stadium hosts events throughout the year. On these days there is no casual entry or bookings available. For more information, view the Hibiscus Stadium website.
