BrisAsia Festival returned from Friday 13 February to Sunday 22 February 2026. 

As Brisbane’s biggest showcase of Asian culture, cuisine, art and music, the festival was bigger and bolder than ever and included immersive cultural experiences, creative workshops, exhibitions and sumptuous food experiences.

The Official Media Partners for BrisAsia Festival 2026 were 612 ABC Radio Brisbane, ABC News Queensland and ABC Asia.

Festival producers

Sounds Across Oceans (SAO) is a not-for-profit arts organisation. It promotes community harmony and wellbeing through creative cultural programs. These programs span different styles, genres, and art forms.

The organisation is inspired by both ancient and modern values. It works with diverse communities to create creative platforms. These platforms help people from all backgrounds reach their creative potential.

SAO runs workshops, residencies, concerts, education programs, and forums. These activities build bridges between cultures and communities. They support cultural knowledge sharing and connect people from diverse creative backgrounds. SAO also uplifts individuals through inclusive and inspiring experiences.
