About the project
Council is upgrading our existing transport management system through Brisbane's Smarter Suburban Corridors project to keep our city moving.
The project will utilise new and emerging technologies to make key corridors more reliable and safer for all road users.
This will help you spend less time sitting in traffic and more time doing what you love.
Benefits of the project

Expressions of Interest - June 2025
We're working with suppliers to develop the Brisbane's Smarter Suburban Corridors project with a procurement process currently underway.
We released an Expression of Interest (EOI) as part of our multi-stage procurement process which is now closed.
You can view current and upcoming tenders for further details of the available procurement activities.
Suppliers are not to contact any other employee of Council or elected officials regarding this project during all procurement phases.
Industry briefing - November 2024
Prior to releasing an Expression of Interest in 2025, Council hosted an industry briefing in November 2024. The briefing provided a project overview and outlined the planned procurement process.
