Read the book, then watch the film, and see how filmmakers reimagine your favourite books and answer the great question – is the book always better? From 1930s outback Australia to 1960s New York, the fantastical and magical to the gothic and contemporary, take a journey through storytelling as we explore the transition from page to screen. In June join us for a screening of <em>The Dressmaker</em>&nbsp;and discuss the book by Rosalie Ham.&nbsp; Brisbane Square Library, 266 George Street, Brisbane City
