Visual Arts and Crafts groups from the Brisbane Metropolitan area combine to exhibit a wide range of traditional crafts that have been given a contemporary twist. Works include ceramics, porcelain arts, textile crafts, enamelling, papermaking and print art, glass art, wearable art, and upcycling. BVAC is a not-for-profit organisation that provides support for the work of the many visual arts and crafts groups in the form of home bases, workshop spaces and exhibition opportunities.
