Bush Kindy - 'Lenny and the Ants' storytime
10:00am to 11:00am
Lenny and the Ants is a fun story for children of all ages. Go on a journey with Lenny the Roo to discover a whole new way to think about food. Written by Jessica Chapnik Kahn, with fun illustrations by Matthew Martin, Lenny and the Ants helps us think about food in different, creative ways. It's estimated that one third of all food produced is lost or wasted. So don't forget to check out the recipes at the back of the book to find out what you can make with those floppy carrots at the bottom of the fridge.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
Bookings required via Eventbrite. Limited to a maximum of four children per adult.
