Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Pauline Maudy: Songs from 'Take me to Paris'.
After a string of successful Australian and international tours, French-born, award-winning singer Pauline Maudy presents songs from her show, Take Me to Paris - a show inspired by her experience of growing up in two places and an exploration of community, connection, memories, and belonging.
One of the truly rare voices on the international world scene, Pauline effortlessly channels the greats in French and English, transporting audiences from Parisian alleyways to New York jazz bars in a heartbeat. An accomplished singer and songwriter, Pauline was named Artist of the Year 2023 at the Australian Folk Music Awards and has received three Queensland Music Awards for her compositions and co-compositions with ensemble MZAZA.
Pauline is joined on stage by some of Queensland’s finest musicians from Australia and Europe, including Peta Wilson (piano), Mircha Mangiacotti (guitar), and Emma Hales (cello/double bass).
This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Anje West.
