Join a guided mangroves and mudflats walk at Nudgee Beach Reserve. Discover the fascinating history of these internationally important wetlands. Discover why Boondall Wetlands and its ‘sister wetlands’ at Yatsu Higata Tidelands in Narashino, Japan are crucial to the thousands of migratory shorebirds travelling between Asia and Moreton Bay each year.
This event is hosted by Brisbane City Council's Environment Centres team.
Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
