National Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, education facilities, bookshops, and homes. Now in its 24th year, it is a colourful, vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy with some of our youngest readers.
Dress in your favourite shades of blue and join our librarians as they read this year’s book Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker.Ideal for children aged 3-5 years and their caregivers.
