The Buzz - a garden for bees
11:00am to 12:30pm
Young adults, Adults (30+), Seniors
We all realise how important bees are for our environment and for the pollination of our food plants too. Linda Brennan from Ecobotanica will guide you through the best flowers, shrubs and compact yet beautiful trees that you can grow in your garden, to attract, feed and support bees. We'll take a look at the unique requirements of both honey bees and stingless native bees.
Grow, Eat, Compost and Repeat is a series of food, gardening and composting workshops, displays and activities supported by Brisbane City Council during May to celebrate International Compost Awareness Week.
