Annerley Road active travel investigations - Annerley

Council is undertaking investigations to inform potential future active travel design options for Annerley Road, Dutton Park and Annerley.

We’re looking at opportunities to make moving around the Annerley Road corridor easier and safer for all users. This includes investigating potential future active travel improvement options. The investigation area is between Peter Doherty Street, Dutton Park and Ipswich Road, Annerley.

This work is part of a grant-funded process. It will investigate concept options to improve active transport connections for residents, visitors, and commuters.

The Annerley Road Active Travel investigation project is proudly supported by the Queensland Government’s Cycle Network Local Government Grants program.

This is an early phase of the project. Further stages will depend on future funding allocations.

We sought community feedback to help us better understand your travel through the area. Feedback also identified where you see opportunities for improvements.

Your feedback will be considered alongside technical data and design guidelines. This will inform active travel infrastructure and design improvements and make it safer and easier to move through the area.
