Brighton Foreshore Parklands project - Brighton
We're starting works on the Brighton Foreshore upgrade in early January 2026 to improve the foreshore for residents and visitors.
The Brighton Foreshore Upgrade is part of our long-term commitment to creating an accessible parkland for everyone to enjoy.
Community feedback has shaped every step, ensuring the upgrade keeps the foreshore’s relaxed, natural character while adding modern amenities
Early works start in January 2026, focusing on installing 3 picnic settings and trialling landscape treatments in 3 areas to guide future measures to help manage erosion.
The project is funded by the Australian Government’s Priority Community Infrastructure Program.
