We can help organisations connect with partners and access opportunities, including training venues, in the lead-up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.

A city built for sport

Brisbane is Australia’s lifestyle capital. A safe, connected and globally recognised city with sport at its heart. From major international world-class events to community clubs and competition across our suburbs, sport is part of Brisbane’s identity.

As the Host City of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Brisbane offers an exceptional environment for athletes and teams to train, prepare and perform.

Our venues, accessible infrastructure and sports-loving culture have earned Brisbane a reputation as a city that can attract, host and celebrate the very best.

With more than 240 days sunshine and stunning natural assets, Brisbane is the perfect base for year-round training.

Our sporting infrastructure, universities, research institutions and experienced sports sector provide the ingredients for high-performance preparation, supported by a city that understands and celebrates sport.

Ahead of Paris 2024 and Rio 2016, Team USA and Team Great Britain invested in sporting facility upgrades, leaving improved training infrastructure and lasting benefits for athletes and local communities.

In the build-up to Sydney 2000, St Joseph’s Nudgee College hosted Australian and US Olympic athletes, generating financial benefits and a lasting sporting legacy that continues with its selection as a Rugby World Cup 2027 training venue.

The invitation: Our Sporting Partnerships Concierge Service

Come to Brisbane to prepare for 2032. Stay connected to Brisbane for what comes next.

Brisbane invites National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, International Federations and sporting organisations to build meaningful relationships with our city in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032 and beyond.

Our Sports Concierge Team works with every organisation to understand their specific team requirements through a single gateway into Brisbane's sporting, business, education, community and government networks.

The Sports Concierge Team's role is to connect global sporting organisations with the people, places and institutions that matter most, helping partners deliver athlete, event, commercial and legacy outcomes that extend beyond 2032.

Brisbane: where sport builds its future is a pre-Games training prospectus that highlights the ways we can help organisations make connections.

Our invitation supports 'The business of sport', an early legacy initiative set out in Brisbane Beyond the Games - Brisbane's Legacy Plan.

Find the right venue for your team

Our Brisbane Training Venue Finder is an online inventory of more than 100 venues offering over 400 facilities capable of supporting Olympic and Paralympic sports.

From elite sporting facilities and universities to schools, clubs and specialist venues, the Finder makes it easier to identify the training environment that best suits your athletes and program.

Beyond the Games

2032 is the catalyst, not the end point.

Brisbane is looking to build relationships that strengthen sport long after the Olympic and Paralympic Games have concluded. This could include establishing a long-term high-performance base, developing sports science and research collaborations, delivering technical education and capability programs, growing participation, strengthening sporting integrity, or creating a permanent institutional presence in Brisbane.

We want to understand what your organisation is seeking to create and explore how Brisbane’s institutions, communities sporting networks and growing sports economy can help bring it to life.
