Daw Road corridor improvements – Runcorn

Link copied

Council is undertaking investigations to inform potential future improvements along Daw Road and Nathan Road in Runcorn.

We’re looking at ways to make Daw Road and Nathan Road in Runcorn safer and easier to use, especially for people walking in the area.

These roads are well used by people heading to school, green spaces, public transport, bikeways, sporting facilities, homes and local businesses, as well as people reaching nearby suburbs.

As part of Brisbane’s Suburban Corridor Modernisation program, we’ll consider small but meaningful upgrades. These could include:

  • minor intersection safety improvements
  • upgrading pedestrian crossings
  • adding kerb build outs
  • updating line markings
  • improving signage
  • minor footpath upgrades.

Council invites you to share your experiences walking, riding and driving along Daw Road and Nathan Road.

Our online survey and pin on a map tool is now open.

Please provide your feedback via the online survey by 11.59pm, Sunday 14 December 2025.

You can also catch us at a pop-up kiosk in Wakerley Park at 9-11am on Saturday
29 November 2025.

How your feedback will be used

Your experiences and ideas will be considered alongside technical data and design standards to shape future improvements for residents, visitors, commuters and students.

We’re currently in the planning phase of the project, and any future construction will depend on the progress of the design and the availability of funding. We’ll provide updates to the community as the project progresses.
