Council is improving transport infrastructure in the Kedron Safer School Precinct to ease congestion and improve safety.
We're creating Safer School Precincts in Brisbane suburbs. This will improve safety and make it easier to move around our schools and local streets.
The Kedron Safer School Precinct supports the following schools and surrounding community:
In late 2024, we asked the community for feedback about their experiences travelling through the precinct. This included feedback on opportunities for improvement and challenges the community faced.

We’re now considering community feedback alongside technical guidelines to design improvements as part of a precinct plan.
We expect to be able to share the precinct plan with the community in early 2026, depending on design progress.
