We're creating Safer School Precincts in Brisbane's suburbs. This will improve safety and make it easier to move around schools and local streets.

The Mansfield Safer School Precinct supports the following schools and surrounding local community:

  • Mansfield State High School
  • Mansfield State School
  • Brisbane Adventist College.

In early 2025, we asked the community for feedback about their experiences travelling through the precinct. This included feedback on opportunities for improvements and the challenges the community faced.

Read the Community consultation report in the resources below. 

We’re now considering community feedback alongside technical guidelines to design improvements as part of a precinct plan.

We expect to be able to share the precinct plan with the community in late 2026, depending on design progress.

We’re dedicated to keeping the community informed and will provide more updates, including construction timeframes, as the project progresses.
