Melbourne Street Bikeway – South Brisbane
We’re planning upgrades to improve walking and riding along Melbourne Street, from Cordelia Street in South Brisbane to Boundary Street in West End.
The Melbourne Street Bikeway project will extend the recent Victoria Bridge to Cordelia Street connection. It will continue to Boundary Street in West End, adding 300 metres of safe, separated space for walking and riding.
We’ve been working hard on design and have undertaken additional investigations onsite to make sure it is robust and well-informed. We’re working towards sharing more specific bikeway design details with the community in the coming months.
