Brisbane City Council works with hundreds of suppliers to help deliver efficient, cost-effective and innovative goods and services for Brisbane's residents.
To support businesses to participate in tenders and learn about submitting innovative ideas, Council runs a range of information events including webinars, drop-in procurement sessions and face-to-face forums. See below for upcoming events.
These events can help current and prospective small, medium and large suppliers learn about:
- Buy Local initiative
- the Supplier Portal registration
- tender evaluation process
- tips on completing a tender
- upcoming tender opportunities
- Better Brisbane Proposals process.
You will also have the opportunity to talk to Council’s procurement officers, hear questions from other suppliers and gain a better understanding about how to work with Council.
The events are open to all current and prospective small, medium and large suppliers including business owners, business development managers and tendering teams. The sessions are part of Council’s plan to support local businesses.
