Planned Burn Brisbane Koala Bushlands - Leacroft Road Park
A planned burn is scheduled to take place at Brisbane Koala Bushlands - Leacroft Road Park, Friday 7 August, weather permitting.
The burn will start at about 10am and continue into the early evening.
This burn is located in Leacroft Road Park between the main picnic area and Stockyard Creek Circuit walk, Burbank.
Smoke may impact surrounding properties and suburbs.
Brisbane City Council staff will be on site for the duration of the planned burn and the following day to ensure the safety of the area.
Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
