Planned Burn Keperra Bushland, Keperra
A planned burn is scheduled to take place at Keperra Bushland, Keperra on Saturday 29 August 2026, weather permitting.
This burn will commence at approximately 10am and continue into the early evening.
This burn is located in Keperra Bushland between Hilder Road and Levitt Road, Keperra.
Smoke may impact local residences and settle in surrounding areas overnight.
Tracks in the vicinity of the burn area may be closed for up to 2 weeks post burn.
Brisbane City Council staff will be on site prior to the burn to check for wildlife in the area and will remain on site until the burn area is safe. Staff will also be on site the following day to ensure the safety of the area.
Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
