Planned Burn Changing Mountain Bushland, Kholo
A planned burn is scheduled to take place at Changing Mountain Bushland, Wednesday 29 July 2026 and Thursday 30 July 2026, weather permitting.
The burn will start at approximately 10am and continue into the early evening. This burn is located at Changing Mountain Bushland, between Stumers Road and Lake Manchester Road, Kholo.
Smoke may impact surrounding properties and suburbs.
Brisbane City Council staff will be on site for the duration of the planned burn and the following day to ensure the safety of the area.
Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
