Planned Burn Kholo Bushland Reserve, Kholo
A planned burn is scheduled to take place at Kholo Bushland Reserve on Tuesday 14 July 2026, weather permitting.
The burn will start at approximately 10am and continue into the early evening. This burn is located in Kholo Bushland, positioned north of Lake Manchester Road, Kholo.
Smoke may impact local residences and settle in surrounding areas overnight.
Tracks in the vicinity of the burn area may be closed for up to two weeks post burn.
Brisbane City Council staff will be on site for the duration of the planned burn and the following day to ensure the safety of the area.
Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
