Planned Burn Longton Court Park, Burbank
A planned burn is scheduled to take place at Longton Court Park Wednesday 15 July 2026, weather permitting.
The burn will start at approximately 10am and continue into the early evening. This burn is located in Longton Court Park at the end of Longton Court on the northeastern corner of the reserve.
Smoke may impact local residents and motorists on Mount Cotton Road, with smoke settling in surrounding areas overnight.
Brisbane City Council staff will be on site for the duration of the planned burn and the following day to ensure the safety of the area.
Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
