Planned Burn Whites Hill Reserve

A planned burn is scheduled to take place at Whites Hill Reserve, to the west of Boundary Road, Camp Hill, on Monday 8 September, weather permitting.

The burn will start at approximately 10am and continue into the early evening.

Smoke may impact local residences and motorists on Boundary Road and Cavendish Roads and settle in surrounding suburbs overnight.

Surrounding tracks will be closed for the duration of the burn and may remain closed for up to two weeks after the burn.

Brisbane City Council staff will be on site for the duration of the planned burn to ensure the safety of the area.

Staff will also be on site on Tuesday to ensure the safety of the area.

Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
