The Annual Plan and Budget outlines Council’s goals for Brisbane’s future and how we’ll achieve them.

Annual Plan and Budget 2025-26

The Annual Plan and Budget is Council’s key annual operational and financial planning document.

It shows how Council is progressing the long-term vision for our city in line with the Brisbane Vision 2031 and Corporate Plan 2021-22 to 2025-26.

The Annual Plan and Budget:

  • provides the funding for Council activities for the coming year
  • states the annual operational plan
  • provides financial statements for Council and its programs
  • reflects the Lord Mayor's and Council's policies and direction
  • is consistent with Council's long-term financial forecast.

The Brisbane City Council Budget outlines the funding for Council activities and priorities for the coming year.

Annual Report 2023-24 and Financial Statements

Council’s Annual Report charts our achievements over the past financial year. It reports against the:

The Annual Report outlines Council's progress towards delivering its vision. It reflects our focus on making Brisbane the most inclusive, liveable, prosperous and sustainable city in Australia. It also includes the Annual Financial Statements, which follow Australian Accounting Standards and the City of Brisbane Act 2010 requirements.

Annual Operational Plan Progress and Quarterly Financial Reports

We monitor and report on our performance against the annual plan and budget with quarterly reports, explaining the variances between budgeted and actual amounts spent.
