Did you know that Brisbane City Council operates free, fully electric and high frequency bus loop services? These services can connect you to all your favourite spots in and around Brisbane's city centre.
City Loop
Operating every 10 minutes from Monday Friday (7am-6pm), the City Loop will take you to Brisbane City's iconic sites. Stops include Brisbane City Hall, City Botanic Gardens, Queen Street Mall and more. The loop service has a clockwise (route 40) and an anti-clockwise route (route 50). You can easily spot City Loop buses and stops as they use a distinctive purple colour.
The City Loop is great for:
- connecting with Brisbane's rail, bus and CityCat networks
- going on a tour at Brisbane City Hall and Museum of Brisbane
- borrowing your favourite books from Brisbane Square Library
- visiting the QUT Art Museum at QUT Gardens Point
- taking a midday stroll through the City Botanic Gardens
- getting to your favourite places to eat and drink.
Spring Hill Loop
Hop on the Spring Hill Loop (route 30) and jump off at Roma Street Parkland, or explore the city by hopping off at Post Office Square. The service runs daily every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 20 minutes off peak.
The Spring Hill Loop is great for:
- connecting with Brisbane's rail network at Central and Roma Street stations
- going for an early morning walk through Roma Street Parkland
- going to Brisbane Private Hospital and St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital
- going to Brisbane Grammar School, Brisbane Girls Grammar School, Brisbane Central State High School, IES College and St Joseph's College
- getting lunch at Post Office Square.
South Brisbane Loop
The South Brisbane free bus loop goes around to the most popular stops in South Brisbane and West End. The service operates daily, running every 10-12 minutes.
The South Brisbane Loop is great for:
- connecting with Brisbane's rail, bus and CityCat networks
- taking a dip at Streets Beach, South Bank Parklands
- catching a show with friends at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC)
