Art decals for vacant shopfronts

If you're a property owner or agent with a vacant shop for lease, you can apply to have vibrant decals temporarily installed on the front windows of your premises.

The themed decals are designed to attract new tenants by making vacant shopfronts more visually appealing and highlighting their potential business use, while also improving the streetscape.

Vibrantly Vacant art decal themes

Property owners and agents can choose from several decal themes designed by Brisbane artist Ingrid Bartkowiak to highlight the potential of the vacant premises as a plant store, cafe, food business, boutique, beauty salon, office, or bookstore.

The Vibrantly Vacant decals can:

  • be placed around existing 'for lease' signage
  • be positioned to maintain visibility to the interior of the premises so prospective tenants can see into the space to understand its potential
  • ignite thinking about possible uses for the tenancy
  • reduce the likelihood of graffiti or vandalism
  • be installed by Council's supplier at no cost and without requiring access inside the premises.
