Brisbane City Council's grants programs provide funding to help local non-profit community groups to develop and improve facilities and services in Brisbane. Grants are also given to individuals who require financial assistance to promote creativity and the arts, encourage historical, cultural and physical events and activities and help others in their community.

The Lord Mayor's Suburban Initiative Fund supports community groups in recognition of the vital contribution made towards building stronger communities in Brisbane.
Closes: Friday 15 June 2018 or when each ward has fully spent their allocated budget (whichever comes first)

The following Council grants for community groups and non-profit organisations are currently closed.
This program provides funding to community organisations for projects or services that respond to the housing and social needs of homeless people, or those living in social housing.

These grants provide funding to local non-profit community groups to increase participation in community sport and recreation.

This program offers financial assistance to community groups facing financial hardships and providers of affordable housing.
This program provides funds to community organisations, groups or networks for projects or services that improve access and inclusion in Brisbane.
This grants program supports Men's Shed groups in Brisbane.
These grants encourage projects that respond to local and city-wide community issues with objectives including, but not limited to, increasing community identity and connections, and increasing social inclusion and reducing isolation.
The Building Stronger Communities Grants Program will provide funding to community-based, not-for-profit organisations to deliver projects that develop or improve their facilities, or improve their governance and long term organisational sustainability.
