About the Albion Heritage Trail

Embark on a journey through a range of places and events that have helped shape Albion's history.

You’ll learn about the area’s:

  • war-time activity 
  • early European settlement
  • prominence as an industrial centre of the past
  • commercial success, which is reflected in the historic Sandgate Road buildings.

There are 18 points of interest along the Albion Heritage Trail. 

The trail starts at the Albion Hotel, climbs to Whytecliffe, then descends to Crosby Park. It weaves through historic suburban streets and travels back along Sandgate Road.
