"Come and Play Author" Day

To celebrate Children's Book Week 2026, the CBCA Queensland Branch is hosting "Come and Play Author" Day for children aged 4–8 years and their carers.

Come along and enjoy a book reading, performance or craft session with Queensland authors and illustrators.

Books on sale to have signed by your favourite author or illustrator.

Authors and illustrators include:

• Clare McFadden, Yvonne Mes, Kia Hing Fay, Alison McLennan, Sophie Beer, Kristen Willis, Rory H. Mather and Anil Tortop.

Families are invited to book one or more sessions. Booking fee: $5 per family. Spaces are limited – book your spot soon!
