Celebrate NAIDOC Week by joining First Nations artist Duane Doyle for an artist's talk and showcase of a new collaborative animation.

Come together online to celebrate NAIDOC Week with First Nations artist and arts facilitator Duane Doyle, as part of the accessible public programming for AMPLIFY ME!, currently showing in Brisbane City Council's Outdoor Gallery.

Join Duane Doyle and AMPLIFY ME! curator, Nicole Crosswell, for a conversational deep dive into his practice, creative process and connection to Country.

During this special event, experience the premiere of Doyle's new work, Endangered Species, created in collaboration with animator, Helena Papageorgiou. Hear first-hand about the research behind the work, the stories embedded in the landscapes and animals depicted and how this project sits within his broader artistic journey.

An integral part of the story behind Endangered Species is Duane Doyle's unique didgeridoo. He will share the story of this instrument and, if we are lucky, we may hear the powerful healing sounds of him playing it – an experience that is both moving and truly memorable.

You are invited to reflect, listen and connect in this relaxed, accessible online gathering. Bookings are essential as participants will be sent the Zoom link to the event.

Everyone is welcome.
