The New Farm Library features a variety of facilities and services, as well as plenty of activities and events. This library is also wheelchair accessible and has community meeting rooms available for hire, including access to a kitchenette. There are also Chinese and Italian collections, as well as Gay and Lesbian collections available.

New Farm Library upgrade project commenced in mid-October 2017 and is expected to be completed in mid-2018, weather and construction conditions permitting. This upgrade is part of Council’s commitment to creating new lifestyle and leisure opportunities and delivering vibrant, liveable communities.
