Temporary closure of steps for upgrade

Works will commence upgrading the steps at Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park on 8 November 2021, with works taking up to three weeks from the start date, subject to weather and other project factors permitting.

The upgrade will include the replacement of platform surfaces, step treads and modification to the existing handrails.

The steps will be closed for the duration of the project. Access via Ellis Street and Lower River Terrace and via the steps adjacent to the cafe (northern end of park) will remain open during the works.
